Habitat Heroes Plant Hebes
The
habitat Heroes of the Hawera Christian School are at it again. This time planting out Hebe plants at the
Nowell’s Lakes Walkway. Over the last
12 months the Heroes have carefully nursed these plants in their shade house at the
school to a size ready to be on-plated.
Taranaki Kea Scouts Visit
The Taranaki Kea Scouts visit for a hike through the
Walkway. Comments were that the kids thoroughly enjoyed it and thought that it was a great place to walk around and
see different plants
